I got my first dose of the vaccine today

Florida opened it up to anyone 16 and older today. I got it from my county, Hillsborough. They have drive through vaccinations sites and schedule the second appointment when you make the first, which is how I wanted to do it. I looked online early yesterday morning and was able to make an appointment for this morning. It went really fast at the drive through site. I arrived early because there was no traffic and I was driving out of there 2 minutes before my actual appointment. (even counting the 15 minutes you wait after the shot) I got the Pfizer vaccine.
My arm isn't even that sore from it. Of course the shot itself is just like a flu shot, you hardly feel anything. It's just as if someone tapped you on the shoulder. No side effects from it. I have an appointment to get the second shot in three weeks. |
