Agree 100% with everything you said, Chris. I, too, am due for various checkups - dental and vision, for example -- plus am overdue for a regular 3-yr. recurring colonoscopy, but I'm just not willing to take a chance. People may say, "Oh, but you're vaccinated; you'd maybe only get a mild case." To be perfectly clear: I don't want ANY CASE or ANY PART of this horrid virus, period the end. If/when the time comes when I can relax and schedule those exams, and when hubby and I feel comfortable enough to patronize a restaurant and eat inside without wearing masks, then, and only then, will I justifiably consider myself liberated. |
