there was smog from fires that the Chumash indians created from campfires in the santa monica mtns that hovered over the LA Basin when the Monks walked the "Kings Highway"

we always change the climate....

or at least the weather as the Chumash Indians are gone and the LA Basin still gets smog though not as much as it got way back when ...as we changed laws that contributed to the smog...

there were always forest fires in the Glades before man or Seminole because lighting strikes hit the tall trees in the hammocks and created fires in dry seasons that burned off the under growth...small plants and kept the whole hammock system in balance

and then Mother Nature throws a big wrench of her own and makes some big Volcano go BOOM

butterfly wings theory here

WITH REGARD TO DEEPWATER HORIZON... how many millions...billions of gallons went into the Gulf and if you believe the Deepwater Horizon people... it's all gone.... and they are just doing clean up on coastal towns...

Wrong.... no way you can have that much oil seep into the bottom of the ocean and not have it affect the ocean in some way

Gulfstream IS one of the largest rivers in the world... of air... and water...
