Over 50 percent of all the federal judges in the Gulf region have buisness ties with BP. Obama at least in the recent past has been on the BP pay-roll.The Louisiana state government is in bed with big oil,''BP included'' and can not get out of that bed.The Louisiana Gov. is, even as the oil is still coming ashore begging the Obama administration to allow new offshore drilling ! They are claiming that their economy depends upon not just the already productive wells in the gulf but also new drilling.Frankly that sounds like crap, but that is the claim.Throughout the history of our government,it has more than consistantly sided with big buisness in matters such as these .Our government has shown time and time again that it considers big buisness and finance to be greater concerns than the enviroment, human wellbeing and the needs of small buisnesses like family fisheries and small farms. Our government is right now, waging at least two wars for the benifit of the MIC,which includes BP and big oil.For all practical purposes there is no real differance between the military industrial complex and the government. It boils down to this, the American people will become more impoverished by this event, while the CEO's and top investors of BP gain yet more wealth, even as there is a possibility that BP, in name only, will go bankrupt and maybe even cease to exist.Justice in this case ,will not and can not prevail, thanks to the nature of the enviromental damage being done, and the fact that our judical system is rigged to protect and promote the needs of big buisness.Yes there will be some sort of dog and poney show crafted to make the public think justice is being done, but even the best of fiction is just that, fiction. |
