I have been watching the forecast for my niece in southeast Alabama and her forecast went down as well. I forget what it was a few days ago. Maybe almost 4 inches, then down to 1.4 inches, but now at 2.4 inches. It will be her kids first snow and school was canceled for Tuesday in anticipation of it.

New Orleans area is going to get a lot.

At least for the NWS the Twitter feed is chronological unlike most other feeds.

6 to 7 inches forecast around Baton Rouge. 5 to 6 inches around New Orleans. 4 to 5 inches in Gulfport, MS. 4 inches in Pascagoula, MS.
