And yes, the lack of testing in this supposedly medically advanced country is perfectly APPALLING.
Tonight on local TV (Pensacola) they had a news story wherein the reporter tried to find out how to get tested. Called the health dept. and said she wasn't feeling well and wondered where she could get tested. She was told to call her doc. But the doctor's office referred her to the county health dept., who said they don't do testing, and that she should call her doc's office. Round and round and round she goes, and where she stops, nobody knows.
So much for "Anyone who wants a test can get one." What a terrible joke at our expense.
Distressing and depressing, to say the very least. |
